Conflict Resolution
When communication deteriorates to the point where it appears that conflict is present or lurking in the background waiting to take over, then a more detailed exploration is necessary. Our research has shown that on average, people are engaged in conflict situations 2.54 times per week, which has a significant bearing on productivity.
“Why is that we judge others by their behaviour and judge ourselves by our good intentions?” (old Irish proverb). It is difficult in times of conflict to seek to understand another’s intention, but individuals and teams that do this are more likely to work effectively together.
In this area, we have global expertise. Having authored a book on personality types and conflict and led workshops in North America, throughout Europe and in Australasia, we are well positioned to help teams overcome conflicts. This knowledge combined with our unique activities that seek to harness the energies of a conflict (“It’s not Trivial” Pursuit, or Maximising Resources), ensure teams are equipped with the skills to deal with conflict on an ongoing basis.
